I would like to consider an advocacy plan where it always the opportunity for parents that have children who have behavior disabilities that would help them progress in school. I believe a lot of children who fall in this category are labeled as problem children and stripped from their opportunity to learn. I believe it is not fair to the child and the parents. I would like to promote a advocacy plan that would accommodate both and they can reap the benefit. This plan would be set in place to accommodate children with learning problems, that is associated with behaviors that hinder their learning, and parents helpful therapy.
The purpose of my topic that will serve as the basis of my advocacy action plan, which is Maintaining Positive and Enhancing Behaviors. I have found that some children are not allowed to learn in spite of their behavior patterns. The reason I chose this topic is I feel that those children are cheated out of their education and can cause chaos in their learning experience later in life. The focus is enhancing their behavior performance.
I think and believe that a strong relationship with colleagues is an asset that motives your ability to succeed in life. I believe it is an encouragement that helps mold you into an effective educator. One the other hand, it is very important to have these characteristics, such as : Having a vision, which helps to see it in plain view( basically, a BLUEPRINT for an effective advocate), realistic goals ( the reality of what works and doesn’t work), being able to communicate effectively to a wide range of individuals ( the vital link to comprehending and communication skills) and passionate ( the desire to be spokesperson for children).
